Avgol planning two more lines

Israel-headquartered Avgol Industries is reported to be planning to install two new Reicofil spunmelt nonwoven lines at a total cost of $80 million.
Avgol The company already has eight Reicofil systems in operation globally – five Reicofil 2 and 3 lines in Israel, three Reicofil 3 lines in the USA and further lines in China (a joint venture) and Russia, which became operational in 2005 and 2008 respectively.
One of the new lines will be installed at the company’s plant in Mocksville, North Carolina, USA, which already accounts for over 50% of the company’s current total capacity of 110,000 tons of product.
A location has yet to be finalised for the second line, although both are expected to be operational by mid-2012, bringing Avgol’s total annual capacity to 140,000 tons.
