INDIA: Gears up for international textile conference

The seventh edition of Advances in Textiles, Machinery, Nonwovens and Technical Textiles (ATNT 2011), the international conference on developments in textiles, machinery, non-woven and technical textiles, will take place in India later this year.

Jointly organised by Kumaraguru College of Technology, India and The Institute of Environmental and Human Health, Texas Tech University, USA, the event will take place at Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore, India from 15-17 December, this year.

The conference will focus on developments in natural and synthetic fibres, polymer and fibre production, general textiles, textile machinery, coloration and finishing, textile testing, nanotechnology, smart textiles, non-woven and technical textiles.

India is emerging as a textile and manufacturing powerhouse with enormous growth opportunities, and organisers hope the conference will provide a platform for international experts to exchange knowledge on the latest technological developments taking place within the textile industry.  Source:  www.just-style.com
